About Us

Born from a Simple Belief

Noor Welfare Trust was founded in 2024 by two visionaries who understood one thing clearly: the Fourth Industrial Revolution cannot be allowed to widen the gap between the world’s privileged and its most vulnerable. We exist to close that gap — through technology, education, and an uncompromising commitment to human dignity.

Registered in England and Wales as a Company Limited by Guarantee (non-profit), we operate with the decisiveness of a technology startup and the accountability demanded of a public-benefit organisation. Every penny of surplus is constitutionally required to be reinvested into our mission — there are no shareholders, no dividends, and no exceptions.

“Noor” means light — in Arabic, Persian, Urdu, and dozens of languages across the world’s cultures. It is the most fitting name for what we do: illuminate pathways out of poverty through education, innovation, and relentless compassion.

WHAT DEFINES US

OUR VALUES

Universal Dignity

Every human being deserves access to opportunity, regardless of origin, belief, or circumstance. This is non-negotiable in everything we do.

Innovation Equity

Cutting-edge technology must be made accessible to marginalized communities first — not as an afterthought, but as the starting point.

Radical Transparency

Donors, partners, and the public see exactly where resources go. Our financials are published. Our impact is audited.

Sustainable Impact

We build self-sustaining systems and local capacity — never cycles of dependency or aid that expire when we leave.

Cultural Sensitivity

We adapt our delivery to honor and respect local contexts. We do not impose ideology. We co-create solutions with communities.
